Our gift to you.
Since we arrived two days early we decided to spend a night in Versailles. We're staying in the lap of luxury. The Trianon Palace is a Waldorf Astoria property and we booked it for free - just some Hilton Honors points. It sits adjacent to the Chateau Versailles property and looks like a palace.
At check in the receptionist said, "We upgraded you. It is our gift to you." The room is amazing. And there's a view of the Chateau Versailles from our window!
